Johnson Outdoors Inc. (NASDAQ:JOUT) reported second quarter earnings before the bell today, that beat street view.
On a GAAP basis, JOUT reported net income of $ 21.62 million or $ 2.15 per share, compared with income of $ 13.96 million or $ 1.39 per share, a year ago period.
Headquartered in Racine, Wisconsin, JOUT recorded net sales that rose 11% to $ 165.78 million from $ 149.81 million in the same quarter last year.
Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected Johnson Outdoors Inc. to reveal income of $ 1.47 per share on revenue of $ 159.18 million for the second quarter.
